Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling equipment in a 24/7 supply chain facility. You will ensure high equipment availability and work with teams across the enterprise to optimize operations.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, experience with preventive maintenance, and PLC-related knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license for state employment.
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Desirable: experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated material handling equipment to ensure high availability.
• Use preventive and predictive maintenance processes and troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to optimize material handling equipment and meet time lines.
• Train other maintenance technicians and trainees to share knowledge.
