Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to support maintenance and repair of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced supply chain facility. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyors, robots, scanners, and control systems to keep operations running efficiently.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, experience with PLC programs and blueprints, and the ability to work on site with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and basic wiring knowledge.
• Familiar with PLC programs and electrical principles.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with robotic operation/maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment on site.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and encoders; service conveyors and AS/RS systems.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis with Senior Engineers.
• Keep accurate work orders with labor hours and parts used.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE.
