Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) in Oregon to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment across the supply chain facility. You will troubleshoot conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, motors, sensors, and controls while following safety procedures and using PPE.

Responsibilities include preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis with engineers, and training junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Experience with PLC programs and basic electrical/electronic principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE on site, including conveyors and AS/RS.
• Repair motors, sensors and relays.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis with engineers.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE.
• Operate company vehicles to move parts and travel to facilities.
