Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This role ensures equipment reliability and compliance with GMP standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a day shift training period of about 2 months. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, document activities in CMMS, manage spare parts, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, facilities, or related experience, with troubleshooting/repair of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.
• Execute repairs in accordance with safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within required systems and records.
• Perform inventory checks and assist with spare parts management.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members and manufacturing personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Escalate complex equipment problems to senior technicians or leadership when necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Complete required training and maintain proficiency in maintenance procedures and systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with bioMérieux quality standards, GMP requirements, and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
