Job summary

Amgen’s Maintenance team is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician I to support start-up, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing equipment. You’ll help implement GMP-compliant maintenance programs and write essential documentation while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include conducting testing, repairs, and preventive maintenance, with on-call rotations outside standard hours. A strong background in mechanical systems and CMMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years maintenance experience, or Associate’s with 6 months experience.
• 5+ years in mechanical maintenance with sanitary processing equipment preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP) and maintenance work orders in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Support start-up, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance program documentation (SOPs, CCMS, NC, WO, JP, JHA).
• Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation during post-construction operations.
• On-call support including nights, weekends and holidays.
