Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This role helps maintain equipment reliability and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Schedule includes nights with a 10:00 PM–6:30 AM shift and approximately 2 months of training on day shift first. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, document activities in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in maintenance or related fields.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.
• Execute repairs following safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within required systems and records.
• Perform inventory checks and assist with spare parts management.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex equipment problems to senior technicians or leadership when necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Complete required training and maintain proficiency in maintenance procedures and systems.
• Ensure work complies with bioMérieux quality standards, GMP requirements, and safety policies.
