Job summary

bioMérieux in Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This role ensures equipment reliability and helps drive continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

You will troubleshoot equipment, document activities in CMMS and records, manage spare parts, and collaborate with the maintenance team to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related issues.
• Document maintenance activities accurately in required systems and records (CMMS).
• Perform inventory checks and assist with spare parts management.
• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
