Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with quality standards in a regulated environment.

You will work with maintenance and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues, complete maintenance activities, and contribute to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.
• Execute repairs safely and per procedures.
• Document maintenance activities in required systems and records.
• Manage spare parts inventory and assist with parts control.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and manufacturing staff to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex problems to senior staff when needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance reliability and efficiency.
