Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot equipment issues, document activities, manage parts, and collaborate with the maintenance team to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better with maintenance experience.
• Prior troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance procedures.
• Able to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues.
• Execute repairs per safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Document maintenance activities in required systems and records.
• Manage inventory checks and assist with spare parts.
• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing staff to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technicians when needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Complete required training and maintain proficiency with procedures.
• Ensure work complies with bioMérieux quality standards, GMP, and safety policies.
