Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Certified Maintenance Tech for the Medina, NY facility. This full-time, 3rd shift role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement to keep production running smoothly.

The position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, GMP/safety compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Shift is 10:00 pm–6:30 am with occasional weekends; pay is $38.80/hr plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level) and willingness to obtain if not held.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with machine setup, equipment modifications, and rebuilds to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update records in CMMS systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and uphold GMPs and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
