Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech C for night shift to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assist senior technicians in complex tasks.

Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, and documenting actions in CMMS. Emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous learning within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Understanding of key safety practices including LOTO, confined space entry, PPE, hot work.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and document work in CMMS.
1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred, entry-to-mid level.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation.
Document issues, root causes, and corrective actions in CMMS and with operations teams.
Complete assigned work orders supporting plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
Follow all safety and quality standards during project work.
