Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Tech C for the night shift to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting while assisting senior technicians and leaders on more complex tasks.

You will help minimize downtime, maintain product quality, and build foundational skills in reliability and maintenance practices within a team environment. Training and growth opportunities are available as you collaborate with senior techs.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Fabrication skills or exposure to welding/machining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
• Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation.
• Complete assigned work orders supporting plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety and quality standards during project work.
