Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Tech B for the night shift to ensure production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this mid-level role, you will maintain and sustain critical machinery, minimize downtime, and support consistent product quality.

Shift: 3rd 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and collaboration with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment performance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety practices including LOTO and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, belts, motors, and gearboxes.
• Service conveyance systems, piping, and utilities (steam, air, water).
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Complete work orders and assist with equipment installations and process improvements.
