Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of electricians and mechanics at the Humble, TX facility on the night shift (10 p.m.–6 a.m.).

The role requires 7+ years of industrial mechanical experience, a technical degree preferred, and expertise in CMMS, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, HVAC, and robotics (Fanuc/ABB). Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial mechanical experience.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Reading electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and HVAC drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, ovens, valves, hydraulics and pneumatic controls.
• Experience with Fanuc and ABB robotics.
• Rigging and lifting of mechanical equipment.
• Ammonia and freezer systems familiarity.
• CMMS and MS Office proficiency.
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Willingness to work night shift and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Electricians and Mechanics responsible for executing the Maintenance plan.
• Provide leadership to operation line teams and participate in Daily Direction Setting meetings.
• Support standard work practices for breakdown elimination and ensure action items are implemented.
• Create schedules aligning resources to reduce MTTR, manage overtime and vacation coverage.
• Conduct team performance appraisals.
• Coach technicians to meet maintenance standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment and correct unsafe acts.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are tracked in the CMMS.
• Coach for Autonomous Maintenance within the operations team.
• Operate within SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices to ensure safety and quality.
