Job summary

Dessert Holdings Humble facility seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to support 8pm–4am operations in Humble, TX. The role focuses on maintaining production and facility equipment, with emphasis on PLC troubleshooting, 480V systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, and automation to maximize uptime and ensure food safety and product quality.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, automated equipment, and industrial control systems.
Experience with electrical systems up to 480V and with VFDs, sensors, motors, and motor controls.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and OEM documentation.
Experience with CMMS systems for recording maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot PLCs and automated control systems to identify faults and diagnose issues.
Install and repair electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Repair VFDs, sensors, motors, and motor controls.
Read electrical diagrams and OEM manuals to support troubleshooting.
Complete preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Lead maintenance activities within assigned area teams.
