Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Humble, TX to lead a team of electricians and mechanics. You will drive the maintenance plan, ensure asset availability, and track activities in the CMMS to sustain safe, high-quality dessert production.

The role includes coordinating resources, reducing mean time to repair, and supporting adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards. Night shift hours apply, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial mechanical experience.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot pumps, fans, ovens, valves, pneumatic controls and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of ammonia and freezer systems.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Electricians and Mechanics responsible for the maintenance plan.
• Provide leadership and participate in Daily Direction Setting meetings.
• Support standard work practices for breakdown elimination and ensure actions are implemented.
• Create schedules to align resources and reduce MTTR, including overtime coverage.
• Conduct team member performance appraisals.
• Coach technicians on maintenance standards and autonomous maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and track maintenance in the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
