Job summary

Carter’s Inc. in Braselton, GA is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to lead evening/night shift maintenance and facilities teams in a large, highly automated distribution center. You will drive reliability, lead technicians, and coordinate with Operations to keep material flow smooth.

Responsibilities include supervising 4–5 technicians, 4 utility technicians, and 4 custodians, managing PM programs, and advancing safety and efficiency across conveyors and automated systems.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance experience in automated distribution, fulfillment, or similar ops.
• Two+ years of supervisory or people-leadership experience in a complex environment.
• Experience with conveyor, sortation, automated material handling, and facility systems.
• Experience with WCS, PLCs, controls, CMMS, or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite maintenance and facilities during evening/night shifts, ensuring safe, reliable operations.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment across a 1.2 million‑sq‑ft facility, minimizing downtime.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and document work activities for internal equipment.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance Technicians and Apprentices, including appraisals.
• Coordinate with Operations on equipment status, priorities, and impacts.
