Carter’s Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our Braselton Distribution Center. You will maintain daily operations, focusing on conveyors and equipment, while ensuring safety rules and OSHA regulations are followed.

The role requires lifting, tool use, and collaboration with the team to maximize productivity. Shift-based schedule offers 1st to 4th shifts with differential and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment and pass safety certification.
• Experience using routine industrial hand tools.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Customer-service orientation to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• 75%: Daily Operations — assist with maintenance and repair of conveyors, machines and equipment; ensure OSHA and Carter’s safety rules compliance; maintain housekeeping and teamwork; observe safety and C-TPAT policies.
• 25%: Support Functions — perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment; maintain facility property including HVAC, generators, sprinkler and security systems; assist Supervisor in all DC duties; perform other tasks as assigned.
