The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our SC facility. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support production goals.

You will work on dryers, chillers, HVAC, conveyors, pumps, and more, ensuring a safe, clean, and productive workplace. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairing machinery, ordering parts, electrical and piping tasks, and maintaining documentation.

Formación

• Must have at least 1 year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Industrial electrical and/or welding certification or license preferred.
• 1 year maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
• Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and perform some installation unassisted.
• Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer, etc.
• Maintain documentation as required.
• Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training.
