Lowe’s is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I for our Regional Distribution Center in Mount Vernon, TX. You will diagnose, plan, and execute repairs on conveyors, rolling stock, or building components, working independently with electrical and mechanical know‑how.

The role emphasizes safety, on-call shifts, and collaboration with management, with opportunities to grow through training and a path to future eligibility for stock plans and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 2 years of experience in your specialty area in maintenance.
• Combination of experience and/or technical training in electrical/electronic theory up to 600 volts.
• Must be able to lift 25–70 pounds and work safely with corrosive materials and heights.

Responsabilités

• Work in a distribution/warehouse environment with physical and environmental duties.
• Use hand tools for maintenance tasks requiring fine motor skills.
• Perform repairs in conveyors, rolling stock, or building components within the RDC.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and execute safe repairs.
• Obtain the proper parts and maintain repair records.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated on new technologies and maintenance procedures through training.
