Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to keep our distribution center running smoothly. You will diagnose and repair conveyors, rolling stock, and building components, working with electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

You will operate safely, document repairs, collaborate with supervisors, and support continuous improvements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in your specialty area
• Combination of experience and/or technical training in electrical/electronic theory up to 600 volts
• Must be able to lift 25–70 pounds and work at heights 20+ feet

Responsibilities

• Work in a distribution/warehouse environment with physical and environmental considerations
• Use tools for maintenance tasks requiring fine motor skills
• Perform repairs on conveyors, rolling stock, or building components within the RDC
• Diagnose equipment issues and procure the proper parts
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Stay updated on new technologies and maintenance procedures through training
