Job summary

The Maintenance Mechanics position at Amcor Flexibles, LLC requires locating and diagnosing problems in mechanical systems, dismantling faulty parts, and measuring parts with calipers/micrometers. You will document maintenance and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on cup packagers, carton sealing, and paper/forming machinery, plus record-keeping and tool changeovers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training desired.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability with related experience or training.
• Able to stand long periods and lift up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Able to read blueprints and technical diagrams with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on cup packagers and carton sealing.
• Maintain Paper Machinery and thermoforming cup forming machines.
• Repair carton sealer and related conveying equipment and document work.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and maintain accurate records.
