Amcor is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to locate and repair issues in packaging equipment, read blueprints, and document maintenance work. The role involves PMs on cup forming machines, carton sealer systems, and related conveyors, with strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout and safety protocols.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus mechanical aptitude, with willingness to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied temperatures. Training and a structured progression are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training in related subjects desired with demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Stand for long periods; lift 25–100 pounds.
• Read blueprints/diagrams; use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on cup packagers and carton sealing.
• Maintains PM on Paper Machinery (PMC) and Thermoforming Cup Forming Machines.
• Maintains carton sealer and related conveying equipment.
• Completes records, paperwork, and ensures Lockout/Tagout compliance.
• Reads blueprints and technical diagrams; follows instructions precisely.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment; adheres to safety rules.
