Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, repair and maintain packaging machinery in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and following Lockout/Tagout safety protocols.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with tiered pay progression based on performance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and some related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training in related subjects desired; mechanical ability.
• 6 months+ related experience or training or equivalent.
• Read blueprints/diagrams and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment.
• Maintain cup packagers, carton sealer, and related conveyors.
• Record-keeping and paperwork; follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Perform tool changes on machines as needed.
