Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday). The night shift earns a $2/hour differential and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include maintaining production equipment, performing electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and repairing die cutters, presses, conveyors, and bindery systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.

Qualifications

Experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex equipment and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches and wiring diagrams to isolate malfunctions.
Ability to measure air and fluid pressure and convert readings into units.
Knowledge of machine control systems, hydraulics and precision alignment.

Responsibilities

Maintain organization's production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment in response to errors or failures.
Repair machinery following diagrams and manufacturer specifications using hand and power tools.
Modify parts using welding or machine tools when needed.
