Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm). You will maintain production equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and keep die cutters, sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, and conveyors operating efficiently.

Proficiency reading schematics and manuals, plus the ability to use hand and power tools for precise repairs, is essential. Lifting up to 50 lbs and 6–7 hours standing are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production equipment and diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults.
• Ability to read schematics and follow manufacturers' specifications.
• Familiarity with safety protocols (OSHA, HazMat) and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment on 1st shift.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Repair and maintain machinery per diagrams and manuals.
• Operate welders or machine tools to reproduce parts as needed.
• Build repairs and assist with training other employees.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
