Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Commerce, California. In this role, you'll provide critical support to our production machinery and ensure operational efficiency.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train production technicians. A high school diploma and mechanical experience are preferred.

Shift hours are from Wednesday to Sunday, 8:15 PM to 4:30 AM. A competitive pay rate ranging from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related mechanical experience required.
• Must demonstrate ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Willingness to attend training classes to learn or enhance skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all maintenance requests and train production technicians.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and make repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and document them.

Skills

Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance

Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions

Good time management skills

Intermediate written and verbal communications skills
