Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a hands-on night shift supervisor for the maintenance team at the Aliquippa facilities. The role requires leading and training a crew, ensuring safe operation, performing preventive maintenance, and managing parts inventory.

Strong communication and accountability are essential for weekly timecard approval and shift reporting. Responsibilities include coordinating breakdown responses, guiding team members across shifts, and maintaining equipment across Aliquippa #1 & #2.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years prior experience in industrial maintenance.
• Must understand and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance across facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the maintenance team; direct daily tasks and shifts.
• Approve weekly timecards and track attendance/vacations.
• Maintain and repair equipment; respond to breakdowns; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Oversee PM tasks and inventory of spare parts; report issues to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Record shift activities; communicate with Operations Team; ensure proper PPE use.
• Manage Aliquippa #1 & #2 facilities and coordinate with other shifts.
