Job summary

Ocado Group, a UK-based operator of automated Customer Fulfillment Centers, seeks a Maintenance Engineer for our North American operations. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, document activities, and support continuous improvement in our high-automation facilities.

The role requires travel to train at other North American sites and may involve day, night, and weekend shifts as operations scale. Training and evolving site routines are a normal part of the initial phase.

Qualifications

• Associate's or vocational degree in electrical or mechanical discipline or related advanced training (min 3 years experience).
• 2+ years direct experience in mechanical or electrical field.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance across the site in a timely and safe manner.
• Update records of work activities, parts used, and training given.
• Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs following written instructions and schematics.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues and action repairs.
• Daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment.
• Analyze data to improve MHE performance and provide reports as needed.
• Complete quality inspections to ensure work is performed to a safe standard.
