Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for night shifts in Canton, MA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all types of machinery, with focus on electrical and PLC-controlled systems.

Compensation includes $45–$48 per hour base plus a 20% night shift differential and additional bonuses. Qualified candidates will have a MA licensed Journeyman Electrician, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts required.
Minimum 5 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance electrician experience.
Experience with running, threading, and bending EMT and Rigid conduit (1/2" to 2").
Strong ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled lines and electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of machinery in the facility (mechanical, electrical, PLC).
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Run EMT and Rigid conduit, including threading and bending 1/2" to 2".
Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment (Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, Megohmmeter).
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and production lines.
