Job summary

Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its Canton, MA Roofing team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery including PLC controlled equipment in a demanding industrial setting.

The shift is Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am, with a 20% shift differential based on education, experience and qualifications. MA licensed journeyman electrician and 5 years of industrial experience are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licensed journeyman electrician in Massachusetts.
5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
Understanding of PLC controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of machinery within buildings (mechanical or electrical or PLC controlled).
Perform preventative maintenance and document work orders and maintenance logs.
Work on PLC controlled equipment and electrical networks per schematics.
Maintain safety and environmental standards in daily work.
