Job summary

Openwork is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Multi-Craft III in Canton, GA. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex production machinery, electrical systems, and automated equipment.

Requirements include 3+ years in production maintenance, experience with 12-volt to 480-volt circuits, and PLC drive systems. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work a steady overnight shift is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on production maintenance experience.
Experience with 12-volt through 480-volt electrical circuits.
Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and drive-controlled equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and repair machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Troubleshoot PLC controls, drive-controlled systems, and automated production networks.
Execute routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and electrical systems.
Perform welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs using drawings and schematics.
Carry out general facility maintenance including doors, fixtures, drywall, and painting.
Order parts and maintain inventory accuracy.
