Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to support construction product manufacturing. You will operate machinery, verify specifications, and ensure quality by monitoring outputs and performing routine maintenance.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, read technical documents, and work a flexible night schedule in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have machine operator experience and mechanical skills.
• CNC or Dryer operation a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance ensuring quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and meet deadlines.
