Qualifications

• Must have machine operator experience and mechanical skills.
• High school diploma/equivalent; or relevant related experience in trades.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in multiple units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance; ensure quality compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
