Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 month related experience.
• Basic electronics and programmable controllers understanding.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity and tools.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements in all units.
• Computer literacy and strong mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance ensuring quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and meet deadlines and product completion.
• Maintain clean and orderly housekeeping in the assigned area.
