Swagelok in Northeast Ohio is hiring a machine operator for 24/7 night shift. You will perform setup and operation of machining equipment, load materials, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role requires high school diploma and at least 30 months machining experience; internal qualification as Level 2 Machine Operator; the job offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 30 months of machining experience externally.
• Internal: Must be fully qualified as Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and machining skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment safely.
• Perform start-stop procedures and material loading.
• Make tooling and fixture adjustments.
• Recordkeeping and quality inspection of parts.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions.
• Daily, semi-annual, and annual machine maintenance.
• Apply process improvements for machining operations.
