Job summary

Swagelok is seeking a Level IV Machine Operator for 24/7 night shifts in Ohio. You will operate and maintain machining equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

The role offers a competitive hourly pay, overtime, a 30% shift differential, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days. Comprehensive benefits start on day one, including health, retirement plans, PTO, and ESOP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of machining experience including extensive changeovers.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and work instructions.
• Extensive tooling knowledge and inspection tools familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Follow SPS and participate in shift start-up reports.
• Perform advanced machine setups, changeovers and adjustments.
• Monitor outputs and adjust tooling to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine issues.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools.
• Lead process improvements for quality and efficiency.
• Support new equipment implementation and maintenance.
• Document production activities and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Serve as SME for assigned equipment and train junior operators.
