Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• External: minimum 30 months machining experience.
• Internal: fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate machining equipment safely.
• Start-stop procedures including loading raw material and machine shutdown.
• Make tool and fixture adjustments and set-ups.
• Maintain records and forms.
• Check parts visually and dimensionally against quality standards.
• Report malfunctions and discrepancies to supervisor.
