Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator (Construction) to operate machinery per safety policies and quality standards. You will join a team producing precast concrete and related products for North America.

The role requires reading specs, adjusting machines, and performing routine maintenance while meeting deadlines and maintaining a clean work area. Night shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of electronics and PLCs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, and basic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments.
• Set stops or guides to lengths per templates.
• Observe machine operation for defects or malfunctions.
• Review product for consistency and quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
