Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to support our construction materials production. Operate plant machinery, set up according to specifications, monitor output for quality, and assist teammates to meet deadlines.

The role requires a high school diploma or related experience, ability to read instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule. Safety rules and MS Office familiarity are expected as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent or 1 month related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or malfunctions.
• Review product for inconsistencies and ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist others as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
