Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Indiana is seeking a Machine Operator Level2 to safely operate and monitor microwave popcorn production equipment. This temp role focuses on learning, adhering to GMP/HACCP, and ensuring product quality.

You will set up, run, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment, participate in safety drills, complete data records, and collaborate with maintenance and QA to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret production schedules and SOPs.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate popcorn processing and packaging machinery.
• Monitor production lines for proper performance, product flow, and packaging accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results per SOPs.
• Maintain GMPs, HACCP and food safety guidelines; report issues promptly.
• Record production data, downtime, waste, and quality results accurately.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and with QA for quality assurance.
