Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods Co. is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator II to safely operate packaging machinery, perform setup and changeovers, monitor quality, and follow GMP and safety rules.

You’ll troubleshoot equipment, maintain clean working conditions, and support continuous improvement with a team-focused mindset. This 12-hour 2-2-3 shift (5:45pm–6:00am) emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a continuous learning mindset with motivation to engage in growth opportunities.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and small groups.
• Willingness to offer improvement suggestions for assigned work.
• Ability to wear PPE (cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net if applicable, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, sturdy boots).
• Ability to use various hand tools required for testing and setup.
• Previous forklift experience for applicable areas.
• Lock out/tag out certified.
• Team player with constructive conflict management.
• Self-starter and disciplined; punctuality essential.
• Completion of company SOP assessments and work instructions.
• Proficient in operating up to 2 production machines (setup/changeovers).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including setup, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery and workspace.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in assigned area.
• Cross-train or train on equipment as defined by the manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials into work orders.
• Work safely per company rules and regulations.
• Maintain good attendance per policy.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
• Ensure line readiness for product changes with proper staging and communication.
