Job summary

AMERICAN POP CORN COMPANY CORP is seeking a Carton Operator for the 2nd shift to efficiently form, fill, seal cartons and monitor packaging lines. You will work with production teams to meet daily targets while following safety protocols.

This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot equipment, and attention to detail to ensure quality and minimize waste. Prior experience with carton machines is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating packaging or carton machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor cartoner machines to form, fill, and seal cartons accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload cartons while ensuring all packaging materials are properly aligned and free of defects.
• Conduct quality checks every 20 minutes to verify correct packaging, printing, and seal integrity.
• Document lot codes and complete required production records with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with the quality control and production teams to identify and resolve packaging issues.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
