Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a manufacturing associate to set up and operate heavy machinery, read blueprints, and ensure quality parts. You will follow safety rules, manage material handling, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, willingness to work overtime and weekends, and basic computer skills. Night shifts start at 6:00 pm with a $1.00 per hour differential. Site address: Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related manufacturing experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience a plus / trainable on forklift.
• Crane experience a plus / trainable on crane.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery.
• Read blueprints and select correct materials.
• Follow safety rules and precautions.
• Operate computerized and material handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication.
• Mark parts with numbers and attach IDs for traceability.
• Interpret technical data and select raw materials.
• Support continuous improvement in the work area.
• Work 8–12 hours, in varying conditions.
