Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Pasadena, TX is seeking a full-time production associate for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–8:30 AM). You will start up and run equipment, monitor line speeds and batch formulas, perform quality checks, and complete paperwork using SAP and SOPs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–1 year of relevant experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with physical labor in a fast-paced environment. Overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced production environment.
• Be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods; tolerate varying temperatures.
• Flexible with overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product appearance and safety.
• Completing various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (e.g., downtime, HACCP) using SAP, SOPs, Safety operations, training as appropriate.
