Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring for a full-time production operator in California. You will set up and pre-run equipment, perform quality checks, and help start up production.

You will control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates, perform light maintenance, and document downtime and HACCP forms with SAP.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and willingness to work overtime and weekends in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related production experience preferred.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and assist maintenance team with repairs.
• Complete downtime logs and HACCP forms using SAP per SOPs and safety training.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment for sanitation and maintenance.
