Job summary

Mars Wrigley is seeking a Machine Operator for a 12-hour night shift at the Chattanooga site. The role requires operating and changing over equipment, performing cleaning and QA checks, and maintaining housekeeping in the area. Strong English, basic math/PC skills, and physical dexterity are required.

Preferred candidates have lean manufacturing exposure, a Material Handling Equipment certification, and 1–2 years of machine operation experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and basic math/PC skills.
• Able to read and write basic production and QA documents in English.
• Demonstrates physical dexterity and ability to perform 1–50 lb lifts frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and change over machinery in the assigned area.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform area cleanings as required.
• Follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards and participate in continuous improvement.
• Assist in training other associates in area tasks as needed.
