Job summary

Mars in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Packaging Operator to oversee the efficient operation of automated packing lines while upholding safety and quality. You will support setup, maintenance, and line cleanliness in a day shift on A-Shift with a 12-hour schedule.

You’ll contribute to continuous improvement projects and ensure consistent product packaging. The role requires a high school diploma and experience in food manufacturing, with mechanical aptitude as a plus; you will work in a multi-skilled

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating high-speed packing machines.
• Mechanical background is desirable.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up automated packing machines and load packing materials.
• Make machine adjustments and ensure proper sanitation.
• Troubleshoot jams and faults; maintain glue and ink supplies.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Follow safety protocols and LOTO procedures during operation.
• Complete cleaning, inspection and lubrication tasks on schedule.
