Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join a long-established production team. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed production line equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support food safety and continuous improvement efforts in a can manufacturing environment.

The role offers a 12-hour rotating night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend work and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

Two years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician.
Experience with packaging equipment or can manufacturing is a plus.
Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
Ability to use maintenance shop equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed production line equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and support quality and continuous improvement efforts.
Work with electrical staff to diagnose and repair electrical problems on packaging and processing equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; assist with parts requests as needed.
Be flexible with weekends and the 12-hour rotating shift pattern.
