Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join a stable production team. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed lines, perform preventive maintenance, and support food safety and continuous improvement in a can manufacturing environment.

The role offers long-term stability with rotating 12-hour shifts, overtime after 40 hours, and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

Two years of experience as a Production Line Mechanic or Technician or equivalent.
Experience with packaging equipment or can/metal processing equipment is a plus.
Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is beneficial.
Able to use maintenance shop equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on high-speed production lines.
Collaborate with Electrical staff to diagnose electrical problems on packaging equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance safely and cost-effectively.
Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead part/equipment replacement requests and maintain clean work areas.
